Koinania Guide Service, specializing in Susquehanna River fishing, has been in existence for many years and owner Rod Bates, who grew up in the area, knows the Susquehanna River as well as anybody, and better than most. He and his staff of “Guides” are good, honest, Christian people who work well with both experienced and novice anglers alike, and specialize in teaching children the joy and excitement of fishing. After all, “Koinania” means “Fellowship” in ancient Greek. Not only will you catch fish… You will have FUN doing it. Rod and his “Staff” also host LARGE corporate and business groups of up to 30 participants, for a days outing on the river. They also offer float or canoe trips and summertime wade fishing on the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers.

“Koinania Staff” members have fished with some of these folks for up to 30 years, and very few for less than 10 years. They have checked out every aspect of their services, from the boats and electronic equipment, to the tackle, lodging, fishing knowledge and friendly attitude.
